Feed back from people
I've got some feedback from my tutor and fellow students. Some people could understand immediately what this advert trying to say. On the other hands, some other people was not sure the meaning of 'BUY 1 GET 1 WASTE' on the price tag. Because it was not clear English grammar basis, also the subtitle as well.
There are some suggestions for modifying and developing from tutor and fellow students;
1. Using two tags; Buy1 for first tag which from fresh food and Get 1 Waste for the other tag which will come from bad food. I thought it was acceptable but it might be complicated image for the people to get understand.
2. Changing the word; BUY 1, WASTE 1 or BUY 1, GET 1 FREE to WASTE. Even though these suggested words are correct way for what this project try to say, it is not simple and too long in my personal thinking.
3. Adding some more information; Firstly, put 'Only buy what you need' after 'Make a list before shopping'. It will giving much clearer direction to the audience what they have to reaction for the food waste.
Secondly, Using this text 'Can you really eat all of the goods before expiry date?
4. With headline, the works shows fruit as apples, lemons and bananas. These fruits have some characteristics based on English culture. So it will be very good to use the behind meaning of the each fruits like;
- Don't be a bad apple, which means that don't be an idiot in a group of people.
- Don't be a lemon, which means the same as don't be a bad man.
- Don't be bananas, which means like don't be an extremely silly person.
